Ingredients:

  • 3-4 tea bags of Leaves of Leisure’s Picnic in the Park tea
  • 1.5 liters (about 6 cups) of water for a full pitcher of tea
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Fresh fruit slices (lemon, lime, or apple), fresh mint leaves, and a sweetener of your choice (honey, agave syrup, or stevia)

Instructions:

Step 1: Boil the Water

Begin by boiling 1.5 liters (about 6 cups) of water. Use filtered water for the best taste.

Step 2: Steep the Tea

Once the water has reached a rolling boil, remove it from heat. Add 4 tablespoons of Leaves of Leisure’s Picnic in the Park tea to the hot water. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

Step 3: Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea leaves and discard them. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Step 4: Sweeten and Add a Twist

Once the tea has cooled, you can add a sweetener of your choice if desired. For a refreshing twist, add slices of fresh lemon, lime, or apple, and a few fresh mint leaves.

Step 5: Chill the Tea

Transfer the tea to a pitcher and place it in the refrigerator. Let it chill for at least 2-3 hours.

Step 6: Serve

To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled Picnic in the Park iced tea over the ice. Garnish with additional fresh fruit slices and mint leaves for an extra touch of elegance.
